The area around the Parish is outstanding for cyclists. The are many cycle routes which criss cross the Parish, details of which can be found by clicking on the links below.

Kent Trails Mountain biking

Regional Cycle route 16 runs nearby and the new blue signs take cyclists through Parish. This is also a part

of the excellent Cathedral to Coast route

the Miners Way Cycle route also runs close to the Parish.

Walking

There are many superb walking routes in and around the Parish. The North Downs Way runs through all three villages and provides excellent walking. In addition there are many other fantastic short and long distance walks. Just click on the links below to see just a couple of them

Possible speed restriction scheme in Woolage Green

Now that the 30mph restriction has been completed in Woolage Village, we now turn to Woolage Green.

We have already started the process of introducing a speed restriction scheme. A traffic survey (measuring speeds) will begin in the next few weeks, thanks to Mike Sole, who is funding it from his community allowance.

The total cost of the scheme will exceed £4000 but will be met from Mike Sole, with a contribution from KCC and the Parish Council.

If successful, the signs will be placed at the three entrances to the village with no repeater signs. There is also the possibility of SLOW markings on the road at the bend by the Two Sawyers.

The scheme will be for a 30mph limit but, depending on the speed survey results, could be a 20mph limit.

Litter Pick

Thanks to everyone who turned out in April to take part in our litter pick. As always there was a large amount including, as here, 7 tyres!

I just don't know why people dump stuff and expect others to pick it up!
